ASP 8600 is constructed from 5 layers providing excellent protection against electrostatic voltages applied to the outside of the bag.

External electrostatic voltages cannot alter the electrical environment inside the bag because the metallic layer provides "Faraday Cage" protection.

ASP 8600 can protect even extremely sensitive devices due to the excellent shielding provided by the transparent metallic layer.

The inner static dissipative polyethylene layer provides heat sealability and also prevents triboelectric charging of the device within.

The centre polyester layer provides strength and puncture resistance to the bag. The polyester layer and the inner polyethylene layer together provide excellent electrical isolation to the contents of the bag due to their high volume resistivity.
